The Marunni Sport Academy, also called the Marunni Academy or referred to as “the Academy,” was founded in 2006 in San Gimignano, Italy, as a motorsport development programme for prospective drivers, engineers, and managers.

Marunni Sport Organization has been the official promoter of the Marunni Sport Academy since 2006. It exists under the umbrella of ACI, Automobile Club d'Italia.

The Marunni Sport Academy is dedicated to developing the next generation of motorsport champions through a comprehensive program that combines world-class instruction, cutting-edge technology, and proven racing methodology.

Our motto is simple: Competition breeds evolution. We offer training in the form of championship seasons where the future’s drivers, engineers and managers learn through competition.

Our state-of-the-art motion generator simulators combined with ultramodern software solutions offer a virtual environment that is unmatched in versatility for both driver and vehicle development.

Members of the Academy have the opportunity to earn work experience as year-long salaried contractors. Most members are part of the Academy for several years, from starting out as first-timers in the motorsport industry until either graduating, having made connections and earned experience, or becoming full-time members of affiliated organizations and continuing to participate in the Academy.

The original Marunni Academy was closed halfway through its 2018 season due to financial reasons. The current Academy is a continuation of the original, having been revived in 2022 thanks to the efforts of the Marunni Sport Organization and former members.
